Physical AI just split into three real, currently active layers: a platform to simulate and train a robot in a digital twin before it's real, a standard for controlling real hardware once it's deployed, and the physical chip the robot actually computes on in the field. All three launched or expanded within the same several months of 2025 and 2026. NVIDIA already holds two of the three layers in the same live deployment.
