[subscription] Stripe and Advent Capital made a $53 billion acquisition bid for PayPal. PayPal's valuation has dropped from $360 billion in 2021 to $36 billion currently. Stripe's stablecoin subsidiary Bridge won conditional approval for a national trust bank charter. PayPal has not yet acknowledged the offer.. PayPal / Stripe. Fwd: 🟡 Really quite unsustainable
