EQT agreed to take London-listed Intertek private in a nearly £11 billion ($14.7 billion; €12.9 billion) enterprise value deal. EQT's global head of services Matthias Wittkowski cites AI and digitalization as drivers of structural growth in the testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) industry, with plans for international expansion via targeted M&A.
