About Greater Boston

Boston's venture ecosystem runs on its universities — MIT and Harvard across the Charles River from each other, Boston University down the bank in the Fenway/Kenmore area, all fueling a dense pipeline of biotech and deep tech spinouts. Kendall Square functions as a walkable biotech campus in its own right, but it's really one node in a wider river-and-campus geography — the region's life sciences density comes from several schools feeding the same square mile, not just one.
