PrismML released Bonsai 27B in July 2026, a highly compressed multimodal model derived from Qwen3.6-27B that achieves ternary quantization at 5.9GB and binary quantization at 3.9GB (fitting on high-end phones), while preserving reasoning and tool-use capabilities through end-to-end low-bit training and quantization techniques.
