RISE Robotics

RISE Robotics, founded by MIT engineers, developed a robotic arm that replaces century-old hydraulic systems with belt-and-pulley actuator technology. It secured a pilot with a food and beverage distributor and a $3 million Air Force contract extension, backed by Techstars and MIT's Engine Ventures.
