Shanghai Biren Technology

Shanghai Biren Technology, a Chinese AI chip designer that develops GPUs for training and running AI models, is planning to raise approximately $1 billion through a stock offering. The company previously raised about $900 million in a July share sale and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in January. The fundraise is part of Beijing's push to accelerate development of domestic chips and reduce reliance on Nvidia.
