Logi Options+, Logitech's configuration app for mice and keyboards, contained a privilege escalation vulnerability (CVE-2026-12518) allowing standard Windows users to reach SYSTEM level via an unsigned MSI installer executed through an IPC endpoint. The flaw was patched on August 19.
