Taction Technology

A US jury ordered Apple to pay Taction Technology $5.7 billion for infringing on two of its haptics patents, marking the largest patent award in US history. The jury found that Apple's Taptic Engine infringed the patents but that infringement was not willful. Apple has rejected the verdict and said it would appeal.
