DeFi Gateway

SMBC Nikko and Nethermind are building the DeFi Gateway, a regulated onchain trading venue on Uniswap v4 targeting Japanese investors, with mid-2027 target launch. Pools will embed AML/CFT checks and investor protections via Uniswap v4 hooks; supported assets include stablecoins and RWAs. Partners include Uniswap Labs, Base, and Nyx Foundation. AI-powered vaults and investor onboarding interfaces are also planned.
