About Seattle

Seattle sits on Puget Sound, and Boeing's aerospace manufacturing heritage there predates Microsoft and Amazon's cloud-computing dominance by decades — two very different eras of engineering built on the same regional talent base. The University of Washington anchors the research side of a city that's aerospace and cloud at once, not aerospace giving way to cloud.
