About Philadelphia

Philadelphia sits on the Delaware River and was home to the country's first stock exchange, and its pharmaceutical industry — one of the oldest in the U.S. — grew out of that same early commercial infrastructure. Penn, Drexel, and Temple anchor a life-sciences and fintech base that's old money and old industry more than it's a recent boom.
