About San Antonio

San Antonio calls itself Military City USA for a reason — multiple military bases anchor the local economy, and the cybersecurity cluster there grew directly out of that defense and intelligence presence rather than as a separate tech scene. UTSA and UT Health San Antonio anchor the research side, and bioscience sits alongside cyber as the city's other real specialty.
