About Colorado

This edition covers the real Colorado outside Denver and Boulder, which already have their own dedicated coverage. Colorado Springs, in El Paso County, is Colorado's second-largest city and home to U.S. Space Command, NORAD, and the U.S. Air Force Academy -- a real, substantial military-research economy distinct from Denver's own tech and aerospace base. Aspen, in Pitkin County, is a real concentration of tourism and resort wealth -- the same money-center pattern that pulls luxury retail into Las Vegas or Honolulu despite a tiny year-round population, not a satellite of any other Colorado edition.
