About the Corridor

Cedar Rapids and Iowa City are marketed regionally as "the Corridor" -- Cedar Rapids carries real avionics manufacturing roots (Collins Aerospace, formerly Rockwell Collins), Iowa City carries the University of Iowa, and the two run as one real, connected economic region rather than two separate cities that happen to be close together.
