About Nashville

Nashville is the country-music capital, but it's also, less visibly, home to more hospital-management and healthcare-services companies (HCA among them) than almost any other American city — health tech there grew out of that corporate base, not a separate ecosystem. Vanderbilt anchors the research side of a city that's genuinely both things at once.
